Wang Fuk Court Fire Support

On the afternoon of 26 November 2025, a severe, five-alarm fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po. The flames spread rapidly to multiple buildings, resulting in a tragic toll of 168 fatalities and 79 injuries, making it one of the deadliest fires in Hong Kong in recent decades. United Care Without Borders Limited has established the Wang Fuk Court Fire Support Fund, aimed at assisting residents and individuals affected by the fire. Let us join hands to lend our support to those impacted by this disaster.

Resident Assistance
 

We are deeply concerned about the impact of the Wang Fuk Court fire on all residents. We stand with you, offering comprehensive support including coordination of charitable funds and supplies, assistance with volunteer matters, and referrals to community resources. Our aim is to help you cope with the current difficulties, gradually rebuild your lives, and regain stability and hope.

Non Resident during  the Fire Assistance

We are also concerned about non-resident visitors who were present on the day of the fire and have established a dedicated assistance programme to support individuals who have suffered personal injury or property loss. We are working through relevant networks to help eligible persons apply for aid.

Worker Assistance
 

We provide a Worker Assistance Programme for local construction workers, cleaners, and security guards whose work has been affected by the Wang Fuk Court fire. This programme aims to help you deal with interrupted income or work difficulties caused by the fire. We are actively contacting relevant trade unions and contractors to arrange applications.

Foreign Domestic Helpers Assistance

We fully understands the significant challenges the Wang Fuk Court fire has brought to the foreign domestic helpers working there, including the loss of personal belongings and the hardship of lacking family and friend support in Hong Kong. We have specially established a Foreign Domestic Helper Assistance Programme to provide support to those affected.

Subsidy for Residents

United Care Without Borders Limited is deeply concerned about the impact of the Wang Fuk Court fire on all residents. We have established a Resident Assistance Scheme, providing comprehensive aid to the affected residents, including financial support, coordination of daily necessities, and referrals to community resources, to help everyone gradually stabilise their lives and overcome this hardship together.

Subsidy for Non-resident Visitors on the Day of the Fire

We also extends its concern to non-resident visitors who were present at the Tai Po Hung Fuk Court on the day of the fire (such as individuals visiting friends, delivery personnel, or service providers). We have established a specific assistance programme to support those who have suffered personal injury or property loss due to the fire. 
 

Subsidy for Workers

This subsidy supports construction workers, cleaners and security guards who were employed at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, assisting them in dealing with work-related difficulties caused by the fire. United Care Without Borders Limited is contacting relevant trade unions and contractors to facilitate applications. 

 

Subsidy for Foreign Domestic Helpers

This subsidy supports foreign domestic helpers who were employed at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, helping them cope with the lack of family support in Hong Kong and the loss of personal belongings in the fire. United Care Without Borders Limited is liaising with relevant consulates-general in Hong Kong and affected households to arrange applications.
